Then you're brave. Brave enough to acknowledge reality: We live in a broken world - we see it all around us: poverty, hunger, conflict, inequality... We ourselves are broken. In the midst of this brokenness, early in the first century, a man named Jesus came declaring that the kingdom of God "is at hand". This kingdom is characterized by good news for the poor, sight for the blind, freedom for the captives.

God has not forgotten us. No, his kingdom is here, its now - and we are called to "seek first his kingdom" and join with God in rebuilding and restoring his world.
